Our team is mission-driven to inspire greater planetary consciousness by providing truthful data, within context, and in a format people can easily understand.

  • Omar has background in business development, strategy and management and holds a number of directorships across several companies and serves as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Ecotechnics (UK and USA). He was formerly the director of Business Strategy and Development for Harrods and the Executive Vice Chairman of the Harrods Group, before the sale of the company in 2010.

  • Manno is an expert in geospatial intelligence and business strategy, as well as a researcher in mapping and forest fire management in tropical regions. He worked as an advisor to the government in Brazil between January 2011 and September 2013, where he coordinated the Department of Geospatial Intelligence. During that period, he also coordinated the development of automated systems to detect deforestation and online platforms to make geographical information widely accessible.

  • Lyndon is an expert in communications and business development. He was formerly External Director at one of Africa's leading financial services and telecommunications businesses. Prior to that, he served as the youngest-ever director at a British multinational public relations and marketing agency. He has been a trusted advisor to various listed and non-listed entities. Between 2008 - 2010, Lyndon worked as an advisor in intelligence and counter-terrorism communications.

 
  • Felix is an accomplished science communicator and geovisualization artist whose work has received international acclaim. Through his dedication to planetary awareness and with a unique knowledge, he has helped define the visual narrative of the Anthropocene— the age we inhabit, the period of global socioecological transformations we have wrought. By bringing together design, art, film and data with anthropology, philosophy and geosciences, Félix has pioneered how to visualize our past, present and future in data. His work has been published by National Geographic and used by the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, the Stockholm Resilience Centre, Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation and Netflix. His film, Welcome to the Anthropocene, created with Owen Gaffney, opened the second Earth Summit, Rio+20.

  • Dean works directly with Jeff Addison and is responsible for building the core technology of the EarthX platform. With a BSc in Physics and a MASc in Engineering from the University of Victoria, Dean has developed novel image and signal processing software in fields related to architecture, underwater acoustics, and geospatial information systems. Dean has worked with various companies including, Carmanah Engineering, Wavemakers Research, TIR Systems.

  • Responsible for building the core technology of the EarthX platform. Jeff brings over two decades of commercial, high-tech product architecture and development experience to EarthX. He has developed scientific software for many organisations including the US Air Force, the Air National Guard, NASA and DaimlerChrysler, among others.

 
 
  • Samuel has been involved with eco tech and community development projects from a very young age. From collaborating with one of the main active eco-social NGOs in Brazil to engage local communities and teach them about digital cartographical and communication tools, to community engagement for an Edtech startup in San Francisco and communication strategy for enterprises in London, Argentina, Germany and Brazil.

  • Kirk is a social entrepreneur with a passion for bold initiatives that contribute to “making the world work for 100% of humanity.” His work is guided by a planetary perspective and an ethic of regenerative design.
